
Be sure to save any documents as PDFs before sending them out this ensures that other people will be able to view the document as intended, even if they don’t have the necessary fonts on their computer. Once you’ve installed the fonts, you’re all set to edit your documents whenever you need.

This also ensures that you don’t accidentally delete any font files when clearing out your Downloads folder. Tip: To keep your font files organized and easy to find, save them in a separate folder on your computer. You may be prompted to enter your password in order to complete installation.

In order for the document to display correctly, you need to install the correct fonts on your computer. If you open that document or try to edit it before installing the new fonts, it won’t look the way it should because the fonts aren’t saved directly in the document.
